Patanjali Rishikul Celebrates Environment Day on the theme ‘Ecosystem Restoration’
Covid-19 and the consequent lockdown could not deter Rishikulites from promoting environmental awareness.
World Environment Day was celebrated on 5 June, 2021 with immense enthusiasm, wherein various activities were designed for students to perform from their homes thus keeping them aware of the environment issues. On this occasion, students took part in many kind of online activities organised to sensitise them to the issues of climate change, deterioration of natural resources, etc. They made eco–friendly bags, posters, pocket books and wrote slogans on the theme ‘Save Environment’. They also planted saplings in their homes and took to the digital medium to express themselves through reciting a poem, orating an informative speech, making a short film that helps society focus on environmental issues. The activities helped the children hone their creative skills.
Vice President, Patanjali Rishikul, Dr. Krishna Gupta inspired the children to respect, and protect the environment and take the measures to engage in environment friendly activities.
Principal, Patanjali Rishikul, Shri Nityanand Singh in his address to the students emphasised that Human Beings are the part of the nature and we should imbibe the values to live in harmony with nature so that we can protect the mother earth from catastrophe like covid-19 pandemic.
