CONSTITUTION DAY (NATIONAL LAW DAY)

26 November, 1949 was a red letter day in the history of India when the constitution of
the country was drafted. It took 2 years 11 months and 18 days to complete the
world’s longest handwritten constitution.
With the motive to spread awareness for the Fundamental Duties adopted by the
Constitution of India the students of Patanjali Rishikul conducted the Special Assembly on the occasion of the 70th National Law Day.
The Special assembly began with the brief introduction about the Constitution Day.
Further, the students told about various ministries which are responsible for the
implementation of the Fundamental Duties.
This was followed by the reading of the Preamble by all the teachers and students at
11am.
The students and teachers pledged to follow the fundamental duties. The assembly
concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
