They celebrated Virtual Teachers’ Day for the first time, beaming with happiness. In the class-wise celebration, students presented scintillating performances showing their love, respect, acknowledgement, and recognitionof the hard work put in by the teachers towards their development. They entertained the teachers by playing virtual games, singing, reciting poems and sharing experiences with them. They indicated that teachers are the corner stones of students’ future and nothing is worthy enough to gratify them for their selfless service and commitment.
Later in the day, Patanjali Group of Schools assembled together virtually, to pay tribute to Dr S. Radhakrishnan.A program showcasing the theme for the day- ‘Learning continues, the show goes on’, was presented via cloud platforms. At the onset, a Guru mantra was recited to invoke the blessings of the Lord. A video presentation encasing the paradigm shift in teaching learning in these trying times of COVID-19, was presented showing the teachers’ contribution, dedication and diligent efforts throughout these past months. The presentation ended with a song - Guru ki Mahima, sung by the teachers of Rishikul.
Dr. Krishna Gupta, Vice President, Patanjali Rishikul, conferred her greetings to all her teachers. She highlighted the importance of teachers and said that they are the architects of the future and their contribution ensures the survival and sustainability of our world. She rendered heartfelt thanks to the motivated and dedicated teachers for their willingness to complete tasks beyond their comfort zones.
Principal, Patanjali Rishikul, Shri Nityanand Singh conferred his best wishes to all the teachers. He appreciated the efforts and sincerity of the teachers who took up the challenges of the present scenario. He said that nurturing the academics, intellectual growth, overcoming digital challenges, mastering the unfamiliar system and turning it into opportunities for the wholesome development of students, has made teachers a real Guru. In this critical period of seclusion and isolation, technology has made it possible for teachers to remain connected with the students but it is not an ideal replacement for relationship, warmth, affection and human touch that binds teachers and students into a harmonious learning community.
The day ended with a revived energy and a promise to self for working selflessly towards the goal.
